GRANTS FOR SCHOOLS

>> Grassroots Arts Program (GAP) Grant for Schools – Public and private schools

  • Grants to fund high-quality arts activities and programming in Orange County Public Schools and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools
  • Suggested request amount: $1,000-$3,000
  • Application period: May 2-June 10, 2022

GRANTS FOR ORGANIZATIONS

>> Grassroots Arts Program (GAP) Grant – Nonprofit organizations and municipalities 

  • Grants to fund high-quality arts activities and programming in Orange County
  • Suggested request amount: $1,000-$3,000
  • Application period: May 2-June 10, 2022

GRANTS FOR ARTISTS

>> Artist Project Grant (APG)

  • Supports artist-led arts community projects and programs
  • Grant limit: $2,000
  • Application period: May 2-June 10, 2022

>> Emerging Artist Grant Program

  • A partnership of Orange County Arts Commission and Durham Arts Council
  • Provides financial support to developing or established professionals by funding a project or program pivotal to the advancement of their careers as artists.
  • Application period: August 01-September 30, 2022.
  • Information Sessions: August 4, 17, and September 7. Email Margaret Demott to sign up. 

>> OPEN NOW: Artist Support Grant Program

  • A partnership of Orange County Arts Commission and Durham Arts Council
  • Supports the artistic and professional development of artists in all genres.
  • Application period: June 7-August 19, 2022
  • Information Sessions: June 23, July 13, and August 02. Email Margaret DeMott to sign up.

GRANTS FOR ARTS EDUCATORS

>> Arts Educator Professional Development Grant Program

  • Small grants to aid visual and performing arts teachers in Orange County Public Schools and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools seeking creative or professional development.
  • Grant limit: $250
  • Application period: Fall, 2022
