Background
The Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC), in collaboration with the Gold Family and its partner, Hedgehog Holdings, seek to activate Hillsborough’s historic Eno River Mill through the arts, providing a critical need for the creative community of Orange County, as well as generating economic impact for the surrounding area. The first phase of the project, the original 3,000sf Eno Mill Artist Studios, opened in February, 2020, followed by a 7,000sf multi-purpose arts space that opened in October, 2021.
Our Impact
The Eno Arts Mill celebrated its first birthday on October 1, 2022. The mill has already made a major impact in our local arts community, and we’re proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish!
