All ages!—– Part circus, part catharsis, total chaos: Live After Death is an hour-long interactive comedy show about loss and grief. Within the span of three years, comedian Ben Wasserman (MTV, VICE) lost his dad, grandad, uncle, and four friends. Through a blend of comedy, clowning, and crowd participation, Ben leads the audience on a hilarious yet moving journey through grief, honoring and celebrating the ones we’ve lost along the way. During the show, he holds intimate conversations with audience members about their experiences with loss, their fears of death, and what we remain grateful for — all interspersed between high-concept high-octane bits. Ben enlists audience members to help him literally juggle the various traumas associated with loss, shows off his talent for ventriloquism by introducing the audience to “grief puppetry,” holds a seance to help connect with a departed loved one, and even dances with death himself! It’s funny, it’s vulnerable, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll wonder why a show like this hasn’t been done before!
