Stone Soup Theatre’s Into The Woods Opens Friday, October 7th
Chapel Hill’s first non-profit community theater’s production of INTO THE WOODS runs from October 7-16 in the historic Forest Theatre.
CHAPEL HILL, September 19, 2022— Stone Soup Theatre Company, a community-based non-profit theater company created to serve local enthusiasts and performing artists in the communities of Durham and Chapel Hill, NC, will be returning to the Forest Theatre in Chapel Hill to produce one of Sondheim’s most beloved works, INTO THE WOODS. The production will run October 7-9, and 13-16 at 7:00 PM. James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone’s favorite storybook characters together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece… and a rare modern classic. The enchanting cast and crew bring this Tony Award-winning book and score to life.

Stone Soup’s inaugural production of “Something Rotten” was performed on October 9 and 10 at the NC Museum of Art’s Amphitheater in Raleigh and on October 16, 17, 23, and 24 at the historic Forest Theatre in Chapel Hill in 2021
