FAQ’s
Q: I don’t see myself in a Jeep, why should I enter the raffle?
A: First, to support the arts of Orange County. The nonprofit creative economy supports 2,000 jobs and brings over 1 million people into our communities each year to dine in our restaurants, shop in our businesses, and support our communities. None of this is possible without a thriving community of artists and arts organizations!
B: Because you have options, all of which will benefit you! Hillsborough Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram will work with you to buy back the car from you at Fair Market Retail Value, or you can trade in the Jeep® to the dealership for something else.
Q: What about taxes?
A: Taxes are the responsibility of the winner and can be financed (based on credit approval) through Hillsborough Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.
Q: Where can I see the Jeep in person and test drive a Jeep?
A: At Hillsborough Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, newly located behind Aldi and Sheetz in Hillsborough.
Q: What is this raising money for?
A: Proceeds will support the Orange County Arts Alliance, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created in 2021 in partnership with the Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC) to further support the creative community of Orange County. Funding will support public art, local artists, and arts experiences for adults and youth throughout Orange County.
The OC Arts Alliance is based at the Eno Arts Mill in Hillsborough and is committed to enhancing the arts and arts access for all segments of our community.
Q: How will the winner be chosen?
A: All tickets will be sold through an online, secure fundraising software called Zeffy, used by more than 25,000 nonprofit organizations in the US. All tickets will be assigned a unique number. After the raffle closes on December 19th, winner will be chosen through a random number draw by an independent accounting firm.
Q: What if you don’t sell enough tickets?
A: The OCAA must sell 1,200 tickets in order for the raffle to take place. If we don’t meet this goal, all raffle sales will be refunded.
