Women’s Voices Chorus Winter concert takes its title from Gwen Hall’s composition, “I Sing that My Voice May Be Heard.” Hall’s song captures the grace of the heroic girls who inspired it and expresses the concert’s central message of hope. Other works include an arrangement of Jane Siberry’s mournful “The Valley,” and a setting of Wendell Berry’s consoling “The Peace of Wild Things.” Carrboro High Women’s Ensemble will join the chorus on select pieces. Deborah Hollis, Pianist. Laura Sam, Artistic Director.
