Promoting and strengthening the artistic and cultural development of Orange County, North Carolina
This 2-day class is designed for beginners, curious observers, and students with previous experience who may need a refresher or have perhaps found themselves stuck on a personal project. The instructor will guide students through the basics of the Tiffany method of Stained Glass (copper foil) through interactive demonstrations on: basic glass cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering (framing not covered). Handouts detailing *tools and supplies, a course outline, and other information will be emailed to participants prior to class.
*It is not necessary to collect these items before class as it may be challenging to acquire all items in time. If you have tools, supplies, and a project in mind, you may work along with the instructor. However, you may find it more beneficial to treat the class like an interactive tutorial where you observe the process and ask questions of the instructor as needed and take notes. The instructor will also discuss different ways to acquire tools and supplies and how to save money.
