Create a traditional ribbed harvesting basket using wild vines and reed. In the first session, we will cover working with wild harvested grapevine, bramble, and kudzu to create the armature of our baskets. In the second class, we will use commercial reed to weave the structure, with opportunities for personalization using colorful dyed reed. Leave with a practical gathering vessel and the skills to create more baskets!
