Class description: This class is intended to give students a quick overview of tarot structure and how it can be used for self inquiry and personal reflection. Great for those who have enjoyed the monthly Tarot for the Sould gatherings and would like to go a little more in-depth. Students will learn in more detail about individual cards and the structure of tarot decks. The cards will be covered in context (major arcana, minor arcana, court cards).  Students will also learn more about framing questions, using spreads, and tarot journaling.  The class will maintain a focus on hands-on learning while also going more in depth about traditional card meanings.

Maximum enrollment: 10

Materials needed: Tarot deck in the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition, decks will be offered for sale ($20) if needed

Materials provided by: Students will be responsible for collecting and bringing their own materials to class

Age Range for this Class

All ArtSchool Classes are for 15 and up unless otherwise specified.

ArtSchool Class Enrollment Policy

Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment within 3 business days of their start will be cancelled, and any purchased tuition will be fully refunded.

Exchange and Cancellation Policy

You may request a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. You may request a transfer of your enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. We do not process requested refunds or transfers within 5 business days of the start of a class, nor after the class has begun.

Scholarships

ArtSchool scholarships are given out on a semester-by-semester basis. Please fill out our online application here.

You may also download a copy (English) (Espanol) to print and fill out. Please submit these to the Box Office in an envelope addressed to ArtSchool Manager Anna Hewett.
