Plein Air Painting Looking Out Your Window (Online)

August 8 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am

$45

In this 2.5 hour workshop, students will learn plein air painting techniques that they can employ from the comfort of their own home, while finding inspiration from the view out their window.  During the workshop, students will work on their own paintings as the instructor does a demonstration and offers individual critiques. Students will also be shown examples from art history of artists who have painted vistas of and through their windows.  This workshop is open to students of all skill levels who work in oils, watercolor, or acrylic painting.  The instructor will be demonstrating techniques in oils and watercolor.  There will be a focus on composition, color, massing, and atmospheric perspective.
