Mixed Media Techniques for Art Journaling (Online)

Repurpose old books into art journals. Paint, draw, write, glue and doodle with no rules.  Book pages with text and images give you something to respond to instead of a blank page and that can be creatively freeing. Build backgrounds, add textures, layer transparent materials, collage papers, incorporate text, drip paint, explore stencils, and more. All you need is an old book, acrylic paint materials, glue stick, matte medium, and any materials you have that can be glued, stenciled or added to a book page. I will share some of my favorite mixed media techniques to help you get started or continue on your journaling path.

This class is conducted online! A computer with audio, video, and internet functionality is required.
