Come join the celebration of the arts in downtown Hillsborough! At Margaret Lane Gallery, we will have:
– Opening reception for Collaged! — all forms of collage from 15 local artists, many of whom will be present, ready to discuss art, process and inspiration
– Zachary Gossett (keyboard) and Kenny Phelps-McKeown (bass) will be performing acoustic selections from the jazz standard repertoire (6:15-8:15 pm)
– Seven Suns Pop Up Shop — Hillsborough’s own youth artist and poet Arden Dowdle will be offering art and poetry for sale.
– Open Gallery — work from over 35+ local artists
– Light refreshments
– Free art activity — art table with lots of collage materials so you can make your own!
