Last Friday Art Walk Events at Margaret Lane Gallery

This last Friday, from 6 to 9 pm, we will have:
– the opening reception for our new show, Pairings (Some Things Just Go Together), with art from Jeannette Johnson, David Knox, Ray LaMantia, Carrie May, Jeff McEntire, Michael Pohlman, Sudie Rakuskin, Jackie Rimmler, Lynn Schmoock, Trudy Thompson, and Barbara Younger — this is your opportunity to meet the artists and share in the stories behind the work!
– live music — violin and viola! — from Lady Bailey and Christina Pipkin (from 6:15 to 8:15)
– charcoal drawing demo by Wendy Aldwyn to introduce her June series of 3 charcoal drawing workshops at the Gallery: ‘Smudge !t’”
– open galleries, with work from more than 35 local artists — many of whom will be coming through during the art walk
– a free art table for you to create, light refreshments, good conversation, inspiration and fun!
