Introduction to Memoir Writing

Everyone has a story to tell. In this class, we’ll use writing exercises, readings, and discussion to examine our experiences, identify transformative moments in our lives that form the foundation of compelling stories, and learn the techniques and skills needed to craft those moments into engaging essays that convey the truth, emotion, and drama. By the end of the course, you’ll have ideas for personal stories and insight into the techniques required to write them.

No writing experience required. Bring a pen and a notebook (or a laptop if writing by hand is a challenge).
