In Freedom and Faith, the string quartet celebrates underrepresented composers who have staked their places in history with virtuosity and power. Featuring works by Jessie Montgomery, Meredith Monk, Caroline Shaw, Jihyun Kim, and others, the program features music that captures the essence of resilience through oppression, time, and injustice.
