Class description: Photo editing on the go! Students will use Photo Editing Applications on their phone to give their images a unique style. This course will introduce many phone editing tools, and will show students how to use them to create unique images. No Photography will be done during class, we will be doing editing only. Students should be interested in photo editing specifically and understand that this class is not a tutorial on how to use their phone in general. Areas of focus will include: optimizing Phone Camera Settings; using multiple apps to edit and enhance the images stored on your phone; layering for double exposure and/or texture, composite for story telling; light leaks; shadows . . . and so much more to create “digital doodles” that are fun and relaxing.

Materials needed: Phone with camera – Iphone 11+ preferred, but not required

Materials provided by: Students will be responsible for collecting and bringing their own materials to class

Age Range for this Class

All ArtSchool Classes are for 15 and up unless otherwise specified.

ArtSchool Class Enrollment Policy

Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment within 3 business days of their start will be cancelled, and any purchased tuition will be fully refunded.

Exchange and Cancellation Policy

You may request a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. You may request a transfer of your enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. We do not process requested refunds or transfers within 5 business days of the start of a class, nor after the class has begun.

ArtSchool scholarships are given out on a semester-by-semester basis. Please fill out our online application here.

You may also download a copy (English) (Espanol) to print and fill out. Please submit these to the Box Office in an envelope addressed to ArtSchool Manager Anna Hewett.
