Promoting and strengthening the artistic and cultural development of Orange County, North Carolina
Create stunning photos and prints using the sun and the power of iron-salts! Cyanotype printing is a process that involves using UV from the sun to activate the chemistry and experience the reveal of a blue tinted photographic print after washing it in water. Cyanotype is a quick and fun process, and you can bring your own arrangement of objects to create a shadow replica of whatever you have to create a print of your liking. In this weekend workshop, we will learn how to use cyanotype chemistry, coat several surfaces with it, and expose them to create beautiful prints.
