Beginning Encaustic Painting with Mary Lamb

Ages 18+
In Introduction to Encaustic Painting you’ll learn the origin and nature of this medium and the materials and different effects that are possible. The class will use ready-made encaustic paints and various implements to create an original work of art. All materials will be provided. You don’t need any previous experience to work in encaustics; they are endlessly variable and are as easy or difficult as you want them to be.
