“In joy or sadness, flowers are our constant friends.” – Kozuko Okakura
In this workshop, you’ll learn to translate what you feel into your paintings through creating abstract florals. Flowers are the perfect vessel for drawing out your inner voice–no two flowers are alike, and there’s a flower for every mood. Flowers are transient– they bud, bloom, and die. But they give abundantly–their pollen sustains the bees, and their beauty makes our hearts leap.
I’ll share my abstract acrylic floral process with through live demonstrations and step-by-step guidance. You’ll start with paper and work your way up to bigger canvases.
You don’t have to have any experience using acrylics or painting flowers to take this class–all experience levels are welcome!
