Enter the world of children’s books by comparing books that work and those that don’t. See how key elements can generate new work. Susie Wilde was the children’s book columnist for the Raleigh News and Observer for over 30 years and is now the Influencer of Geems’ Gems. She unites concepts of writing and reviewing experience to aid participants in discussion and in their own writing. We will examine different concepts in shared books and turn these into prompt possibilities to support individual writer’s work. This class blends hands-on exploration of children’s books into opportunities to explore and then share your writing and ideas with fellow students.

Refund and Exchange Policy

You may request a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. You may request a transfer of your enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the start date of your course. We do not process requested refunds or transfers within 5 business days of the start of a class, nor after the class has begun.
