Promoting and strengthening the artistic and cultural development of Orange County, North Carolina
On Sunday, March 12, the Chapel Hill Philharmonia will present a classical concert with soprano soloist Andrea Edith Moore. A versatile artist, she has appeared here and abroad in operas and on the concert stage. She will sing Mozart’s joyful “Exsultate Jubliate”. Conductor Donald Oehler will then lead the orchestra in Tchaikovsky’s Symphony #4, known for its emotional intensity and exuberance. The program begins at 3:00pm in Moeser Auditorium in Hill Hall on the UNC Campus. Admission is free. The program is supported by the Orange County Arts Commission and N.C. Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
