Before you start writing the book of your heart, it is important to understand some of the core elements in fiction writing. This 4 week course teaches four of those foundational components: Setting, Dialogue, Point of View, and Character Development.

Each 90 minute class will focus on one of the four elements. The instructor will provide examples, exercises to practice each element, and short writing assignments will be given to reinforce learning.

Each class will incorporate time for students to share their writing (voluntary).

Masks must be worn at all times. Students are required to show instructors a proof of vaccination before attending in-person classes. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for in-person classes offered during the pandemic.
