Throwing with Intention: Planning and Achieving a Desired Form

In this course we will build on your previous wheel experience by planning forms before centering and throwing with more deliberate intention.  We will look to ceramic art history as well as modern ceramic artists for inspiring forms and decorative techniques.  Come to class with personal throwing goals and we will work to achieve them!

• Prerequisite: at least one beginning wheel class.
• Tuition includes one bag of clay and materials fees, but not tools. Students will need to purchase a basic tool kit prior to the first class.
