Part-Time Marketing & Administrative Assistant
(Chief Poster / Algorithm Whisperer / Occasional Meme Dealer)
Do you know the difference in a real and reel? Do you love to keep tabs on what social media platform humans are using this week? Do you love the arts, artists, and being in creative spaces? If so, we’d love to work with you!
What You’ll Do
- Run our social media accounts like a responsible adult who also understands memes
- Create posts and eblasts that are interesting, funny, or at the very least, not boring
- Take photos and videos at events, programs, and occasionally random moments that deserve to live on the internet
- Write content that make people laugh, click, attend, or say “oh that’s cool”
- Plan content, track results, and figure out what’s working and what’s not
- Answer comments and messages like a friendly human and not a corporate robot
- Help promote events, programs, and cool things and people in our community
- Welcome visitors with a friendly face at the Eno Arts Mill, our arts space in Hillsborough
- Help us with various odds and ends involving our programs and events
You Might Be Perfect If You:
- Know your way around Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other corners of the internet
- Have a good eye for photos, graphics, and things that just look right
- Are comfortable using tools like Canva, e-news platforms like MailChimp, scheduling apps, and your phone camera
Bonus Points If You:
- Secretly enjoy watching engagement numbers
- Have ever said “the algorithm is being weird today”
- Know how to make a reel that doesn’t look like it was filmed accidentally
The Details:
- Part-time, 20-hours per week
- $20/hr
- Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 12-5pm
- Occasional nights and weekends required
