The Orange County Arts Commission created the Orange County Arts Support Fund in March of 2020 to support artists, arts industry workers, and arts organizations who have experienced the devastating impacts of COVID-19. In a typical year, the nonprofit arts industry in Orange County contributes $130M to the local economy and $5.3M to local government. More than 4,000 individuals in Orange County work in a creative field.
The arts industry has been decimated by the pandemic, and the impact is felt by artists, employees of arts venues, technical and production staff, and the neighboring businesses reliant on foot traffic from arts events.
The future character and vibrancy of our community relies on our support of this critical industry.
The next round of relief grants will open in April, 2021. Click here for more information.
