Hillsborough, NC – The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough and Mike’s Art Truck are happy to present “Off the Grid: Art by Eric Legge” at the Alexander Dickson House, home of the Hillsborough Visitors Center. The exhibit is on view now through March 14, 2019.
Self-taught artist Eric Legge leads a peaceful life “off the grid” in the mountains of Georgia, surrounding himself with creatures and objects that he has found by “happy accident.” Putting discarded art supplies to good use, Legge creates bright colorful paintings and assemblages that seem to radiate positive energy, like the ones in this exhibit.
Exhibition artwork is available for purchase directly through Mike’s Art Truck. For information email mikesarttruck@centurylink.net, or visit their website: www.mikesarttruck.com.
The Alexander Dickson House and Hillsborough Visitors Center are located at 150 E. King St., in downtown Hillsborough. Admission to the exhibit is free and open to the public during regular visitor hours. Free parking is available.
