Artists! Register for our Grants for Artists Training Session on July 21 at 6pm through GoToMeeting. We’ll be discussing the OCAC’s Artist Project Grant Program as well as the new Artist Support/Emerging Artist Grant in partnership with the Durham Arts Council. These are two different programs – join us to learn the differences and determine which is right for you. We’ll have plenty of time for Q&A afterwards.
The Emerging Artists Program (EAP) is a project grant program that provides financial support to developing or established professionals by funding a project pivotal to the advancement of their careers as artists. Pivotal projects may happen at different stages of a career, therefore Emerging Artists Grants are not restricted to unestablished artists. The Emerging Artists Program begins its 37th year in 2020-21.
This program is funded by grants from the NC Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation, Chatham Arts Council, Orange County Arts Commission, Person County Arts Council and Granville Education Foundation, and contributions to the Durham Arts Council’s Annual Arts Fund.
The 2020-21 grant application period will open in fall, 2020. Check back soon for updates.
