OCAC ANNOUNCES 2023-24 ARTS GRANTS RECIPIENTS  


The Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC) is pleased to announce recipients of the 2023-24 Grassroots Arts Program and Artist Project Grants. The OCAC awarded thirty-eight grants to fourteen artists or artist-groups, fifteen nonprofit organizations, and four schools, totaling $118,220.00

  • Ackland Art Museum: Performance of “Step This Way,” a new commission by Mark Gabriel Little and Maura García
  • The ArtsCenter: OCPS Title 1 Artist-in-Residence Program
  • Carrboro Elementary School PTA: Cultural Arts Programming
  • Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public Schools Foundation: School Performs The Lion King; Visiting Artist Donna Washington; Remarkable Rainforests
  • Chapel Hill Wood Turners Inc.: Operations support
  • Chelsea Art Theater Inc.: Operations support
