“Navigating Social Media” November 20th Artists’ Salon

The Artists’ Salon Series is a professional development series for artists, offered free to the community on a quarterly basis.

We welcome any suggestions for topics you feel would benefit the arts and artists in Orange County.

The next Artists’ Salon, sponsored by the Orange County Arts Commission, will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 6:30-9 pm in the West End Theatre at The ArtsCenter (300-G East Main Street), Carrboro. Free. For artists of all disciplines.

Free parking is available at The ArtsCenter and in the parking deck at the adjacent Hampton Inn & Suites Chapel Hill/Carrboro. At this event, light refreshments will be served.

November’s topic will be “Navigating Social Media” with special guest Laken Geiger , with MISNER Public Relations in Raleigh. Her skillset involves facilitating non-traditional avenues for growth, establishing new relationships and collaborations, and supporting balanced planning strategies for business owners and entrepreneurs. Recent projects include work with Essential Edge Live, SPARKcon, Hopscotch Design and The Feed. With MISNER she’s helping to grow public awareness and foster engagement and trusting relationships between consumers and brands.

The Arts Commission thanks The ArtsCenter for the use of their space for this quarterly professional development series for artists.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to arts@orangecountync.gov or call 919/968-2011.
