The Hillsborough Arts Council is sponsoring “Art in the Heart of Hillsborough” on April 22, 2017. The 9th Annual Arts & Crafts Show will again be held on the lawn of the Orange County Visitor’s Center at 150 East King Street in Hillsborough, NC on April 22, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year’s show will feature an installation called, “THE LIVING ROOM.” The room, created by Stacey Green, will be decorated entirely by items made by local artists. All items may be purchased through the artist.
The room will include the lounge area, café/dining corner, study, meditation corner and reading nook.
Complimentary LIVING ROOM events throughout the week:
Tuesday, April 25th: 10:30am and 5:30pm
Birding Talk and Walk: Meet in The Living Room for a lecture, followed by a guided hour long nature walk in our lovely town, led by Mike Werndly.
Wednesday, April 26th: 6:30-8:00 pm
Herbs, Oils, and Teas with Rochelle Eisenberger of Empress Herbs followed by Mediation for Absolute Beginners with Stacey Green of Greenhouse Yoga.
Thursday, April 27th 6:30-8:30pm
Wine and Food Tasting with Mark Solomon of Leland Little and The Wine Fellers WHUP radio show and Allyson Atherton, owner of The Gourmet Grove
The “LIVING ROOM”, located inside the Hillsborough Visitor’s Center will welcome guests during the Visitor Centers office hours from April 22nd through the 28th.
