Upcoming Classic Film

The Hillsborough Classic Film Society will present The Prowler, a noir favorite starring Van Heflin and Evelyn Keyes, at the Passmore Center at 2 pm on Sunday, March 2. It was directed by Joseph Losey and written by Dalton Trumbo. (Don’t confuse this with the dreadful 1981 slasher film with the same name.)
The Passmore Center is at 103 Meadowlands Drive in Hillsborough. There will be an introduction to the film beforehand by Bill Birken, and a discussion afterwards. There is closed captioning, and it’s free and open to the public of all ages. (The popcorn is free too!)
If you would like to attend, please sign up before 3 pm Friday, February 28th, by calling the Passmore Center at 919 245-2015 or by going to our website:
The Passmore opens its doors and provides help for the Society on the weekend when they are normally closed, but they need to have some indication in advance that the audience will be large enough to justify the expense. Please sign up if you are thinking of coming.
