Sweet Sweet Spring, Mixed Media Collage Workshop with Jacqueline Rimmler

Join artist Jackie Rimmler to learn the basics of collage using cut paper, brushwork, and palette knife painting to create this sweet sign of spring.

Collage is a method of creating art through the assemblage of items (such as paper, paint, and other mediums and found objects) to form a new work.

This workshop will focus on using a brush and developing new skills with a palette knife to create a one of a kind piece of art . We will explore layering to create depth in your artwork. We will also explore mixed media using paper and found objects to finish your own work of art.

This playful project presents you with a joyful way to get into your creative flow, loosen up, and make delightful artwork. At the end of the session, you’ll bring home up to two completed 6×8″ collages, some new skills, and a smile.
