Promoting and strengthening the artistic and cultural development of Orange County, North Carolina
A great introduction to the techniques and tools for basic stitched handmade books. The pamphlet stitch, Japanese stab binding, accordion book, and long stich binding will be presented. Short video demos will be followed with discussion and technical advice. Homework assignments will be emailed and we will share content we put in our books about our current experiences. The classes will be recorded for students’ reference.
