Shine Your Light: Art Created by People Living with Dementia

Join us for an exhibition of work made by people living with dementia at the Norma and Robert Gindes Adult Day Center. The mixed media exhibit showcases the creativity of these individuals and highlights how art programs can support the wellbeing of people living with dementia. Join us for our opening reception on Thursday, September 3 from 6:30-8:30pm, where local organizations who support people living with dementia and their caregivers will be onsite to share resources.
The exhibit runs from September 3-Oct 2 in the ArtsCenter Green Room Hall. Our gallery hours are: M-F 10am-8pm and Saturday 10am-5pm. The ArtsCenter is located at 400 Roberson St. in downtown Carrboro, a short walk from the bus stop with ample free parking adjacent to our building. The building and parking lot are wheelchair accessible. Visit our website for more information about our accessibility: Visit Us | The ArtsCenter.
