Promoting and strengthening the artistic and cultural development of Orange County, North Carolina
It has become tradition, but there is nothing predictable about it. The 31st Annual Sculpture in the Garden exhibition opens on Sunday, September 15, at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. Since its inception in 1988, Sculpture in the Garden has united the work of local artists with the curated landscapes of the North Carolina Botanical Garden to create a stunning and novel way to experience sculpture, the natural world, and the relationship between the two.
The show will be up through Sunday, December 8. Admission to the exhibition, as well as to the Garden itself, is free and open to the public during normal Garden hours (9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sunday). Sculpture in the Garden is geared toward all ages and will be enjoyed by the casual observer as well as the serious art collector. Most pieces are available for purchase, although no pieces will be removed before the end of the show.
Sunday, September 15, 1-5 p.m.
