Roots of Love Through the Windows of Ukraine

About the Workshop
This creative session is inspired by art project Roots of Love, which explores stories of resilience, identity, and the power of human connection through mixed-media painting and visual storytelling. Participants will learn how personal narratives can be transformed into art and will be invited to reflect on their own inner strength while creating a meaningful artwork to take home.

Led by artist Yuliia Sytnyk, the workshop draws inspiration from the courage and resilience of Ukrainians who have faced displacement and loss. All materials are provided, participation is free, and snacks will be available.

This workshop is presented in collaboration with UNC’s Center for Slavic, Eurasian, and East European Studies (CSEEES).
