Pop Up Quilt Show and Sale

In March, the Durham Orange Quilters Guild celebrates their 40th anniversary with an Art Walk in Downtown Chapel Hill on March 8 and 9, followed by a Quilt Exhibit at Chapel Hill Public Library on March 16 and 17.
During the 2nd Friday ArtWalk, DOQ will display and sell many handmade quilts and fabric art pieces. The pop-up show and sale will be at 109 East Franklin street. The show and sale will be open from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Friday, March 8 and from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 9.
The Exhibit at Chapel Hill Public Library on March 16 and 17 will feature a display of more than 50 quilts, with a special section of red and white quilts to celebrate the guild’s Ruby anniversary. In addition, DOQ will lead hands-on demonstrations to teach the public about quilting.
