Promoting and strengthening the artistic and cultural development of Orange County, North Carolina
Pam Baggett, Janis Harrington, Al Maginnes, and D. M. Spratley will share poems about the people, places, and moments in life that we love and must eventually let go. Pam Baggett is the author of Wild Horses and a recipient of a 2019-20 Artist Fellowship from the North Carolina Arts Council. Janis Harrington is the author of Waiting for the Hurricane, which received the Lena Shull Award from the North Carolina Poetry Society. Al Maginnes teaches at Wake Technical Community College and is the author of seven full-length collections, most recently The Next Place. D. M. Spratley’s work appears in POETRY, Shenandoah, and the Lambda Literary Poetry Spotlight. She is a recipient of a 2019-20 Artist Fellowship from the North Carolina Arts Council. The event is free and open to the public.
