Phoenix, Oregon — Indie Film at the Chelsea Theater

In this fantastic new film, Phoenix, Oregon, the lead characters, Bobby (LeGros) and Carlos (Borrego), must defy midlife haze and seize an unlikely opportunity to reinvent their lives, quitting their jobs to restore an old bowling alley and serve the “world’s greatest pizza.” Despite controlling bosses, dead-end jobs, and broken relationships, the two leads must awaken hibernating courage and resilience to take new risks and keep dreams alive.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Writer, Director & Editor Gary Lundgren and Producers Annie Lundgren and Luis Rodriguez.
JOMA Films brings you this summer’s most enjoyable movie, Phoenix, Oregon. The Chelsea Cinema is part of a very special 70 city nationwide screening tour that takes the film to the East coast and back this summer. This screening is the only chance for local Chapel Hill audiences to see the film and discuss it with the filmmakers.
