Outlander Ayr will Cèilidh On while adding fun layers from the Outlander series when the main characters lived in colonial North Carolina. Step through the Stones to experience colonial food and lifestyle demonstrations, British and Highland regiment reenactors, readings, dancing and much more. Come in costume of your favorite character – or not – but come join in the fun.
The first 500 Tickets sold online for this event will include Free Parking on-site (at Ayr Mount). Your ticket will say “Adult with Free Parking.” Please come to Ayr Mount and follow signs to park.
If you purchase your ticket after 500 tickets have been sold, your ticket will say “Adult with Free Shuttle Service,” you will need to park in downtown Hillsborough (Parking options can be found HERE) and take the free shuttle buses to the event site.
The Shuttle for Outlandish Hillsborough will depart from the Visitors Center, located at 150 E. King Street, and continuously loop to Ayr Mount from 10am-4:15pm. The distance between the Visitors Center and Ayr Mount is less than one mile.
Adult tickets $25 after October 11th, at 6PM.
This event is a part of Outlandish Hillsborough which encompasses a 2-day festival of Scottish history, the colonial history of North Carolina with ties to the Outlander series, music, food, Marketplace vendors – plus a whole lot of fun!
