ORGAN MONK – Durham Debut at Magnetic Sound Studios

On Saturday, May 9, Hammond organist and Thelonious Monk specialist Gregory Lewis will bring Organ Monk to Durham for the first time, appearing at Magnetic Sound Studios with vocalist Raina Welch, known professionally as Ms. Raina. The concert follows the Sunnyside Records release of Organ Monk Sings and presents Monk’s music through Hammond organ, voice, saxophone, and drums in an intimate listening-room setting.
