Promoting and strengthening the artistic and cultural development of Orange County, North Carolina
Find your holiday spirit while making cards for friends and family in a relaxed, friendly setting!
We will have lots and lots of card making supplies, from card blanks with matching envelopes, to stamps, collage papers, paints, inks, watercolor pencils and crayons, markers, microline pens, adhesive and flaked foils, embellishments, embossing folders, holiday die cuts, ribbons, beads, adhesive jewels, and washi tapes.
While this is not an instructor-led workshop, we will have examples of different cards you can make, and a few mini lessons on specific cards.
Because we know everyone’s time and supply usage will be different, we are doing this session as a “pay as you please” — $15 suggested, or if more than 10 cards, $1.50 per card — and just ask that you pay what you think is fair and you can afford.
For adults and mature teens; younger school-age children are welcome with a supervising adult. No registration required. Saturday, November 9, 10 am – 2 pm. Drop in for some or all of the time.
Held at the Margaret Lane Gallery Annex/F-Stop 2, 302 W Corbin Street, Hillsborough (co-located with Yesterday and Today Frame Shop).
Stay up to date on local arts news, happenings, and more!
