Holiday Arts Market

The Ackland’s Holiday Arts Market, presented in partnership with Downtown Chapel Hill (https://downtownchapelhill.com/), will be held Friday, December 8 from 5-9 p.m. during the 2nd Friday ArtWalk and Saturday, December 9 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Purchase handmade holiday gifts both Friday and Saturday. Come for the gifts and enjoy music from Chapel Hill School of Musical Arts (https://chapelhillschoolofmusicalarts.com/) at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
Handmade gifts from local artists include laser-cut statement jewelry from Kathleen Grebe’s studio and upcycled bags and jewelry from Heather Washburn at Calico Creates. Phyllis Flora and Scott Masion collaborate on unique metal art jewelry and Grace Guido St John makes gemstone jewelry wire fashioned at Creations by Guido. Enjoy shopping for handmade paper from artists Caroline Hogue and Sarah Ann Austin. Sarah creates beautiful cyanotype nature prints at Legacy Prints and Paper. Jennifer Strickland’s colorful art glass decorative pieces will wow you!
