Come meet local creators of comics and other nerdy goodness. Shop in our dealers room, take part in the cosplay contest, or take part in a discussion of all things comic book! In addition to the dealers’s room, we’ll be holding the following events:
Cosplay contest: 10am – 1pm. Winners announced at 2pm.
We’ll be having two categories 14 and younger and 15 and up, with Atomic Empire gift certificates for winners!
Free Comics for Kids! 10am until they’re gone! We’ve got lots of kids comics from the sixties and seventies, and each child under 12 gets one while supplies last!
Panel Discussions
On the Shoulders of Giants–11 am. Stan Lee passed away last year, one of the few comic creators to have become a household name. We’ll talk about his contributions to the field, and discuss other legendary creators you should know about!
Superheroes Flying Off the Page — 1pm. Superhero movies and TV shows are more popular than ever. With so much available, what’s most deserving of your attention? And, if you like the heroes on screen, what comics or graphic novels should you be tracking down?
