“Hello, I’m Johnny Cash” presented by David Burney

Due to the increase of the Delta Variant and the danger it poses, we are writing to let you know that starting October 1st, 2021, in additional to masks, proof of vaccination will be required for all attendees of in-person performances at the ArtsCenter.

David Burney, lead singer for the acclaimed Johnny Cash tribute band Johnny Folsom 4, brings his one-man show to The ArtsCenter for two shows, April 29-30, 2022.

In “Hello, I’m Johnny Cash” Burney shares an intimate portrayal of the Man in Black’s life story from growing up in Dyess, Arkansas to his final days after the death of his beloved June Carter. From his early years at Sun Records, to his world-famous prison concerts and television show, to the unexpected success of the American Recordings albums and MTV videos at the end of his career — Burney tells the story of Johnny Cash through anecdotes and, of course, the songs the whole world knows and loves.

This was a difficult decision to make, however given the risks that the new variant poses to the health of the community, we believe this organizational mandate is the most sensible measure for the safety of the community.

All attendees are required to wear a mask or face covering at in-person shows.
