Promoting and strengthening the artistic and cultural development of Orange County, North Carolina
A new art lesson is presented each month in a 2-hour session. The lesson provides a bit of relaxation and the opportunity to have a stress-free creative learning experience. All supplies are provided.
These creative respite sessions, specifically intended for caregivers who are caring for a loved one(s) with dementia, are free of charge but registration is required.
The lesson for June is Tissue Paper Painting. Tissue paper is the star of the show in this lesson. It will be used to provide the color and texture in your one of a kind compositions. Each work of art will be enhanced with metal leaf and then sealed for protection. It’s a bit of a process but worth the outcome!
