EcoHopeful Poetry Writing Workshop for Teens

Teens- This is a 2 part series! Writing and show!

Part 1- Saturday 1:00-4:00 January 11, 2025 Carrboro Civic Club- Behind Town Hall , 108 Bim St in Carrboro
Come explore the topic of climate change, your feelings about it, action, and hope!
Write poems with these themes. Practice speaking them into a microphone.
Go home, type them up and email them back to the workshop facilitator Liza Wolff-Francis, Carrboro Poet Laureate.

Part 2- Friday February 7, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Lanza’s Cafe (601 W. Main St. in Carrboro)
Your poem will be put into a zine with all the other poems by workshop participants.
Read your poem at Lanza’s Cafe.
