Cosmic Rays Film Festival: Program 1 – The Instability of Clouds

The COSMIC RAYS FILM FESTIVAL is an annual celebration of short films that expand our idea of what film is and what it can be.

The Festival presents several programs of short films made by filmmakers from North Carolina and around the world that are formally inventive; speak with a personal voice; and are inspired by the possibilities of film as art. This program is supported by the Orange County Arts Commission and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.

Program 1, The Instability of Clouds, will screen films about the things that connect us together or tear us apart. Family histories stashed away in government files. Neighbors who share secrets. Portraits of the people we love and the puzzles they leave behind for us.
