Bold Colored Pencil Plants, workshop with Debi L. Drew

Layers of colored pencil will be used to transform simple plant drawings into bold realistic plant images. Students will produce one or two 18×24” bold realistic plant compositions by the end of the week. Topics covered include drawing from images and observation; value studies and gradation methods with colored pencils; realistic, monochromatic and analogous color schemes.
