Bloom Fest

Visit BLOOM FEST in downtown Chapel Hill and celebrate our community and all things Spring! There will be arts activities, performances, natural experiences, floral displays and more. Highlights of the festival include Blawesome’s 20-foot Carolina-themed floral archway, a LIVE monarch butterfly garden from BASF, a performance from Paperhand Puppets, and a community exhibit of “Planting A Dream” themed miniature gardens. There will be a variety of interactive, hands-on arts, crafts and science activities from a number of community partners, including BASF, KidZu Children’s Museum, Chapel Hill Public Library, Chapel Hill Garden Club, Ackland Art Museum, RedApple Learning Campus, NCDOT, Triangle Orchid Society, Triangle Youth Ballet and many others. In addition, Chapel Hill Farmers’ market will provide fresh samples including edible flowers! Downtown’s Cha House will offer a variety of flower teas and snack samples. Celebrate community, diversity and the beautiful of the natural world with this all-ages event. FREE ADMISSION.
